Movie Review: The Peanuts Movie

NEW YORK (CNS) — Anyone familiar with the perennial TV special "A Charlie Brown Christmas" will know that the "Peanuts" franchise, which began life as a comic strip penned by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz between 1950 and 2000, has a knack for unabashed but also un-bashing spirituality.

Movie Review: 'Minions'

NEW YORK (CNS) -- Fillet it how you will, "Minions" (Universal) is a rare treat. This bright 3-D animated comedy traces the history of the yellow, capsule-shaped creatures whose endearing presence in the background contributed to the success of both 2010's "Despicable Me" and its rather unimaginatively titled 2013 sequel, "Despicable Me 2."
